    Mike,
That was a great video. I do have question as I am very interested in the potential of CPA marketing. I am an unemployed Golf Professional. Which is a golf pro that works at a golf course and runs the golf operation. I don’t have capital to get started. Is CPA marketing something that you need capital to start? It seems that there are a lot of educational things that you can attended for money. That wouldn’t do me any good being that I don’t have money to spend on that right now. Any insight as to how one with no capital would get started in this business would be a big help. Thanks Mike.

Tighe, you do need capital to buy traffic, but the way you saw or see in the video that Amish put together, you dont need a lot. You are in a different space though, you have some knowledge that many dont. My buddy Justin just stareted doing some work with some people you know on DJ’s product. Id watch those guys closely if I were you. RIGHT up your alley! :)

Mike, thanks man, but really… you are starting to be like these “gurus” who built a small business, got a few sales under their belts and built and email list to exploit…

Money money money…. proven fact 95% of the people buy and don’t do anything with it and people don’t “Neeeed” this.

    Come on man…

while I can appreciate all points of view, the one thing you may not be seeing here andrew is that many of my buyers and people who want help just need one small success to start the wheel really moving. This thing that Amish put together is simple and anyone can do it for there own products pretty easily. Real details, real explanations, facts, and a call to action. Not fake blogs, not fake income, real stats, real google account, and real stuff. sure 95% may not do anything, but if I can be a part of taking 5% from every new thing and bringing them closer to success, then I’m darn gonna try. because i remember a time when there were only 5 Gurus. Now theres hundreds.. and literally tens of thousands make money via some online influence (and im sure im being conservative). So at some point you went from new guy who couldnt make his first thing to owner and guy who puts a link to “individualcreatives.com” in this blog. So at some point, someone got to you and helped you. I owe it to everyone to share what I really feel can be helpful to them. so again, I appreciate your perspective, but Ill continue to help and point out other amazing people hoping that if even 1 out of 100 use it and change, eventually we will get to the other 99 and help them to find there own way online :)

    Best wishes Andrew,

    - Mike

Hey Andrew, there is a big danger with repeating the “95% won’t do anything” stats — the more often people hear it, the more they believe it and it becomes their norm.

So now, instead of taking action, they think “ah well, I’m part of the 95% who don’t do anything, so, I guess, I won’t do anything”.

Read “Predictably Irrational” for an in-depth explanation of how this works.

Whilst I totally agree that not enough people are taking action, there is no need to program to well, not take action.

So, like Mike says, let’s focus on those who don’t yet and get them moving.

    have a great new year

    Hi Mike,
That was Amish Shah in the video. I had already seen it somewhere
today. But, the details of what he did would be interesting, Niche,
keywords, & landing page. I would love to be able to do that, I
don’t even know PPC, much less the cranking they do. I am in the
arbitrage conspiracy, couldn’t keep up with the guru’s. Amen is
coming up with something called ‘Middle Men’, that doesn’t require
any skills other than his tng. Also, I’ve got a DVD coming from Amish
and Frank Kern, might have more info. I appreciate your email, one
a day ain’t bad. Take care.

I ordered the same thing too Harold. I dont know what Aymen’s got planned, I havent talked to him in a while, but he DEF knows his stuff! What i liked about Amish was that it was not 10000 keywords, huge research, and complications, it was clean, to the point, and easy for anyone to get fast! like Andrew said, maybe not everyone will do, but if just a few can and will, we did good :) Ill post more after i get my DVD from Frank and ill ask Aymen about his stuff too, thanks for the heads up Harold.

    Hey Mike,
I just finished watching the video. Wow. That’s an eye opener for me. I thought Google and Blogs were getting overated/crowded with so many people knowing about it. It goes to show that the only way to be sure if something is working is to test, test, test.

About you sending us to other lists, I agree with you. I actually set up a different email account for this purpose only. The content is free, but we still have to provide something in return for it. Just my two cents;)

Thanks man for another great video.:)

What’s shaking south of the boarder Mike? I hope your holidays were amazing and you were able to spend the time with your loved ones!
Thank you for the info on Amish, he is pretty cool and doesn’t blast people with unnecessary garbage, I get the odd email from him when he feels its all good.
Last thing, you and your crew truly are all about giving it to get it bro! The CPA Tsunami course is killer and I am on my 4th run through.
Keep on Keeping on from snowy Canada!
    Cheers,

    Mike Hill Reply:

Rod, I’m 5 miles from Canada! :) I moved to Eureka Montana (which is in the middle of nothing, just like i wanted). I agree about Amish not mailing a lot, i THINK Im on one of his lists?? I know I was but i havent gotten anything in a very long time? hes like me, he has is main business and the MIM (marketing internet marketing) is something we do because of the love we get from others. Have to be honest, it gets a bit lonely sitting in front of your computer talking one on 100,000 and the feedback and support we get from people like you guys makes it one of the most enjoyable parts of our day :) thanks Rod!

  13. Ok..I have been reading blogs, watching vimeos, attending webinars and getting alot of offers from the major Gurus via my email…from opting in for all their wonderful free offers etc.
I have studied intensly for over 4 months… got brain fog and info overload…took a week or so off from it all during Christmas…and now, want to start the new year out with actually getting my feet wet with some true blue action.

Which route? Hmmm, there is Affliate Marketing, Internet Marketing, Pro-Blogging, mini websites, and a thousand ways to start trying to make money online…
I am pretty sure that when I really put my heart and soul into the effort, something will break through.
But, here is ONE question I personally havent ever in all this time heard brought up by ANYONE..!
Where are the women in this?
I can count on my one hand the number of actual women marketers that are in this game. Why? Most of the Internet Marketing arena seems to be dominated by Men…or surfing kids…. or Oriental Gurus…..
I am wondering if I should be starting my new online career under a psydonym (sp?)…..
Maybe change my first name to: Jason, or Mark, Or John, or Guy, or Darren, or David….?
Hmmmmmm….. any suggestions from you? Any opinions?

    [Reply]

    Mike Hill Reply:

Hey Valerie :) Happy New Year!

Congrats on the intensity you’re putting out. that is the ONLY thing that really leads to success in this or any space.

OK, to answer the question, where to start? What do you LOVE. What can never be taken from you no matter how many times you get kicked? Thats a great place to start. You will hear many talk about making money online as the only thing that matters, blah blah. My opinion is screw that! Getting any success under your belt will help your confidence level, but honestly, if you met these guys in this space first hand. they are NO DIFFERENT than you or anyone else out there. In most cases we are just dumb enough to never accept failure. And its become more of a game for us than anything else.

I could make a comment on why more international people are starting to see more success than there american counterparts, but I wont. Lets just say that I dont have Cable, or Satellite in my home and my family loves it.

Why are there not more internet marketing women? This one still eludes me. I wish, hope and pray for more women in our space. I think if there had been more women, you would not see the kind of crap in the market that there was in 09 (the year of shame for internet advertising). I wont even venture to guess. What I can tell you is that the gurus at the top are like you point out, mostly men. We NEED you and more women like you to please upset this. Its happening now with social media more, but mark my words, in 2010, there will be some HUGE changes in power and I see of lot of that going to the “more intuitive gender” as we pass into the era of the dominance of our female side (men included).

Know one thing, your in the right place at the right time, with the right attitude!

Will hiding who you are create more success reliving an episode of “moonlighting”… I dont know. But I can tell you that WHEN you make it, i think your being a woman will be in your favor. just remember, the only thing that will EVER keep you from success is you! The only reason why any of us fail is because of ourselves and our self doubt we allow to creep into our world. This year, none of us can afford that. We are all beautiful creatures put here to prosper and there is plenty to go around.

So the question really is, what do YOU love Valerie?

    - Mike

Hey Mike! I usually don’t read the comments after videos on blogs, but once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. The fact that YOU actually take the time to respond speaks volumes as to what’s in your heart. You are in a class all by yourself. Kudos! BTW, did you really move to Montana?!
PS. Give Julie a hug for me! She is exceptional!
PPS. Yesterday, I signed up for the tonight’s webinar, but still no e-mail from Buck or Mike. I really want to attend. Any thoughts?

  16. davidbaer says:

Here is an old rule! If you want to be really successful in affiliate marketing, you ought to drive traffic to your website. The more visitors to the website, the higher the probability of click through. Many affiliate guides forget to mention that it is always prudent to build traffic first and then consider affiliate marketing. There is no magic potion. If there is no traffic, there are no profits. Don’t worry, if you haven’t got hordes of visitors, even a few visitors will do initially. Once these visitors start trickling down the web drain, you can place banners and advertising in appropriate places to get the results. A good affiliate marketer doesn’t care about the number of clicks but on the average number of clicks per visitor.
Such techniques, slowly but surely brings success. And with it comes a potential for much higher rewards
